Thyme - How to Set Up the Newsletter Block

The Thyme theme includes a newsletter email capture on the homepage. 

Follow these tutorials to set this block up with ConvertKit and Mailchimp.

ConvertKit

1. Login to ConvertKit account and select Landing Pages & Forms from the top navigation.

2. Select Create New on the right

3. Select Form

4. Select Inline

5. Select Clare

6. Edit your settings

7. Save the form

8. Click </> Embed (top right)

9. Copy the JavaScript code.

10. Navigate to your homepage editor and paste the code in the HTML block.

MailChimp

1. Login to Mailchimp.

2. Click on your profile name top right.

3. Select Extras > API Keys.

4. Highlight and copy the API Key.

5. Navigate to the WordPress dashboard.

6. Select Genesis Blocks > Settings in the dashboard.

7. Paste the API key in the field and Save All.

8. Navigate to the home page editor.

9. Below the default HTML block, click the + to add an Email Newsletter block.

10. So that the Email Newsletter block can align correctly, on the default HTML block, click the 3 dots on the right and remove the HTML block
