Simply Charming - Category Index Setup

Navigate to  Pages > Add New. 

Give your new page a name.  Something like Recipes, Index, or something that fits your site. 

On the right under the Page Attributes panel, you’ll see the Template drop down. 

Select Category Index from the drop down. 

Publish the page. 

Then add Genesis – Featured Posts widgets under Appearance > Widgets > Category Index.

All the widgets in this section are configured exactly the same aside from the category selected in the drop down menu and the title of the widget.
