Tickled Pink - Navigation Menu

Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Menus and create a new menu.

Select the items you wish to add to your menu, and click “Add to Menu”. You can drag and drop the items into the order you wish them to appear.

Assign your menu to a Theme Location at the bottom of your menu.

Save the menu.

In the Tickled Pink theme, the navigation below the header is the Primary Navigation and the navigation at the very top, with the social media icons, is the Secondary Navigation.

How to remove the “/” on the last item in the navigation menu

To remove the last "/" on your navigation menu, make sure that the CSS classes are enabled for the menu by clicking on the Screen Options box in the upper right corner of the menu page.

Navigate to the last  main line item in your menu (not the last item if it is a dropdown) and under the CSS class enter "last" then hit save!

How to add a button to your navigation menu

To add a button to your navigation menu like you see in the demo, make sure that the CSS classes are enabled for the menu by clicking on the Screen Options box in the upper right corner of the menu page.

Navigate to the link you'd like to be the button and place "button" along with "right" to the CSS class field. This will make that link a button and position it to the right.

Nav Social Menu

To add social media icons to the top navigation, place a Simple Social Icons widget into the Nav Social Menu widget space. For information on how to set up the social icons, see here.
